The Bureau

B.A.T.

The Bureau of Anomalous Trials (“B.O.A.T.” or… “B.A.T.” in this universe) is a foundation that specialises in anomalous watch. It protects and records any activity not of this world, and has done so since the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ incident, which happened to seven young adults years earlier.

The foundation was founded by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’s mother, Aurora ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.

Video recordings, in the form of “Tapes”, were discovered near the place where the children’s belongings were found. Each tape is a recollection of a major occurrence, which they called an “A.O.I. Event¹”. Events like these led to the untimely disappearance of the “Liminality Seven”, as officials now call them.

Little is known about their “gifts” and “strengths”, nor how they came to enter an “Area of Existence²”. Since its founding, however, the Bureau’s goal has been to keep the public safe, and never to let a child set foot in those Spaces again.
